This Giving Tuesday, the Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce Foundation invites you to be a catalyst for change. We're on a mission to empower entrepreneurs and small business owners who are the heartbeat of our community. With your support, we can continue to provide much-needed resources that fuel dreams, foster growth, and create opportunities.

In 2024, thanks to the generosity of supporters like you, we awarded eight (8) micro-grants totaling $15,500 to deserving small business owners. These grants may seem modest, but their impact is undeniable. They’ve helped entrepreneurs stock their shelves, purchase crucial equipment, and invest in tools to expand their reach. Each grant represents a step toward financial stability, job creation, and community resilience. We would like to increase our giving to ten (10) business owners in 2025. 

One recipient used their grant to buy the books they needed for their therapy practice. Another business owner purchased equipment that increased their local customer base. These are more than small wins—they are life-changing moments that spark hope, independence, and progress for individuals and entire families and neighborhoods.

But here’s the reality—so many more businesses need our help. For every grant we provide, there are countless applications we cannot fulfill. The demand is growing, and we can't do this without you.
